Update: Had to add an additional figure to comply with a competitions guidelines last second...and I hate myself so why NOT add another two to that requirement lol. The death panda was the easy answer but it messed with the balance to me so I stuck the two line troopers in there as well. I REALLY enjoyed the push to make that match the overall setting of the unit. The base was only intended to add interest to what they were standing on but ended up being as important to conveying the lighting of the models in relation to each other and the environment even more lol. The colossus line trooper was another fun exercise. I think I did ok on most of that. The chick is probably my fav of the new additions....no clue why. The adds helped the unit earn a best in category and Best In Show at Corvus Belli's annual Warcrow painting comp at Interplanetario. C&C is always welcome and desired. Would love to hear what worked and, more importantly, what didn't on these dudes. Thanks!

Corvus Belli minis from their Infinity universe sculpted by Javier Urena. LOVE all his stuff :) Always a joy to paint his sculpts in Corvus' universe. I was able to pull out a second showing at this years Crystal Brush unit category with these. I had a lot of fun with the free hand open areas like the canister and gun barrel on the big guy. This lot have so much character all over them. Hopefully that shows. C&C always welcome and desired. Anything to improve as an artist :)
