'Australian Koalas',

painted 2020. Robot Rocket Miniatures.


Since several weeks my heart is in pain due the tragic reports on how the enormous wildfires in Australia impact wildlife, homes, nature and humans alike. While donating what I can here and there myself I still felt the urge that this is not enough and I want to paint something with my emotions. I did with this piece.

This unique project is now raffled via the Nova Open Charitable Foundation until February 15th 2020 and the money will be donated to WIRES - Wildlife Rescue, Australia. Thank you for your help!

It’s distressing to come across injured or displaced wildlife and have no idea how to help but WIRES volunteers are always available here in Aus to give advice or collect animals for veterinary treatment and rehabilitation.
