The freehand was so much fun I almost forgot to finish the miniature :)
And of course the bigger the projects the more you learn. Luckily I had some awesome friends over the weekend at my place to give me feedback. Also it was a great experience to enter a miniature at a GoldenDemon contest. It makes you look at your miniatures from totally different point of view.

i think the banner is so good that i dont want to look at the rest of the minature.for me the armour needs a lot more contrast to draw the eye away from the banner but i bet irl i would say dont change a god dammed thing!!!

Freehand is absolutely awesome, i love the way you reintepretate the reference canvas. The rest of the piece is not at the same level of detail and care. Next time try to do the freehand for the miniature, and not the miniature for the freehand. Anyway you have great skill! Good work!
