      Thanks Jakob, I was most happy with the brushed brass/copper collar and gold of the handle… Those two ended up looking very convincing in hand. I don’t know whether anyone’s noticed but I put a Trompe-l’œil hallmark on the gold handle. It serves as both a signature (letter J initial) and happens to be the date hallmark for 2020.The blade looks good in the static photos but like a lot of nmm depicting high polish the effect is much less in hand and it looks more like smudged desaturated colour than shiny metal. I’m still pleased with the effect overall and it was definitely worth trying.
