Hiya!

I did this christmas gift for my parents. Actually, these have been sculpted by me, and were a fun little stretch goal for my Kickstarter with the kayak hunter done by amazing Alexander Deryabin.

I decided to do these myself as noone had time. Honestly I think they were not good. Proportions are off. But I did not see it at the time. Anywho, it was fun to try sculpting and might try again.

the model is done by drilling holes in a plinth and placing the little torsos and then sculpting water with green stuff. Meaning that any depth is all illussion as no water effect is used - only glossy surface on paint. Does it work? I don’t know. Looks a bit off in real life as surface is flat.

Not my greatest work, but wanted to show here too.

My new years resolution is taking better pics. Promise.

Beautiful work! I’m sure your parents loved it and that is the most important thing with this project. Seems to me like you’re being too hard on yourself with this one ;) Looking forward to the new pictures!
