This is my last boxart for Medieval Forge Miniatures, a beautiful Russian hussar sculpted by Igor Gulyaev. Extensive research was provided by Евгений Дравских which made the experience a true pleasure.

With this work I wanted to strenghten his expression with the help of a cast shadow from the shako. I have used this effect on a previous project but wanted to integrate it slightly more this time in order to find an effect that was more natural and less stylistic.
