I started with a 75 mm Avanpost resin figure, to which I swapped heads, this one fitted better the "veteran" look I wanted to achieve.
Made up the flag with magic sculpt and painted it with "Los Tercio de Flandes " emblem.
This emblem was present on the coats of arm and flags of Spain, both land and sea, from the beginning of the 16th century to the middle of the 19th century. (bicephal eagle and Burgundy cross)

This multinational army was in the service of the kings of Spain that was based in the Spanish Netherlands during the 16th to 18th centuries. It was notable for being the longest-serving standing army of the period.
Whilst working on this figure, I discovered the beautiful 54 mm version painted by Magobaku. (on P&P)

Mixture of oils and acrylics ; I try to use the advantages of both mediums, having shorter drying periods (acrys ), and easy blending .(oils )
