I absolutely love this miniature from Blacksmith Miniatures, based on the art of J-B. Monge. It was a challenging assembly with some extremely small resin parts to Valentin Zak's beautiful sculpture but I'm very pleased with the result.

I wanted the base to be in scale for a real weasel (the weasel is almost 150mm nose to tail, which would make this more-or-less a 1:2 scale "miniature") so I had to create my own grass blade by blade from plasticard. I added a mixture of real and sculpted plants and flowers to create a grassy meadow. There'll be some work in progress pictures on my instagram soon to show the process.
