Eylea, bust by Arkegonos, acrylics.

Hi everyone! Keeping learning on my OSL journey and trying to experiment new things every time. Today especially translating through colors contrast and light placement the idea of the "bossoms" movement on her helm.

I really fall in love for Eylea, she is a relatively small bust and yet incredibly rich in details and a real pleasure to paint.

I keep preferring the black background pictures (as usual using a black t-shirt as backdrop) whenever I paint strong OSL like these as it certainly helps conveying the light focus. Yet I have added also couple shots against a white paper sheet as there are so many details and dark nuances that I thought it was worth for the general reading of the piece. Hope you’ll enjoy either way!

Cheers!
