Hi,

Here is my latest (and biggest!) project, the wonderful sculpt by Alberto from Pegaso & Kimera. Fell in love with this sculpt that embodies the old geste tales and knight/princess forbidden romances.
Tried to represent the fact that to me, the bard is singing an old tale about the knight and princess, wich are pictured but not really there. So I painted the bottom of the piece in autumn dark tones and marble, and the upper part, the tale, in a spring mood related to love and flowers, organic ground.
The choice of heraldry was made because the lys flower represents purity, virginity and is associated to wedding. The unicorn over a red color is a symbol of love in heraldry.

Spend more than two months working on it, really tried my best to do it justice and making my own version. I tend to follow boxarts a lot and decided this time to write my own story with it, even if the fabulous artwork by Francesco Farabi was a great help and inspiration.

Dedicating this one to my wife, and painted the princess to make it look like her.

Thank you for watching!
