Sculpted by my favorite modeler, Ben Douglas of Ritual Casting, this is Gunnhild the She Wolf. I had a few decisions to make as to whether or not to paint her bloodied from battle as her shield indicates (arrow points sticking out), or paint her clean. Since I am painting another of his models called "Cassandra" who is covered in bloodied armor I decided on clean. I had to decide on color scheme, and while she is basically in red white and blue I tried to make her NOT Wonder Woman-ish. The leopard skin top was a whim which I didn't decide to do until I had it based in to paint as leather. I used almost exclusively Vallejo paints and all paint brush. I did some final glazing with transparent Liquitex Acrylic Inks. I hope you like her despite all of her flaws!
