This was my first vignette with a backdrop, I had gone through several changes before settling with a more focused and cinematic feel.
I aimed to convey a summoning or terraforming with a vortex of chaos forming a new realm up above, so a few additions to the sculpt such as a brass chain and oozing smoke like tentacles were added. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the effect! Painted entirely with Hiro acrylics.
