Just finished up my latest project and this was a big one for sure! I am very happy with the result, sort of proud of myself for even trying something like this and I had alot of fun making and painting everything.
It's a huge leap forward for me since I am not at all comfortable with creating a story. I really tried alot with this piece. I sculpted the pots, books and candles myself. The wizard alchemist is from the Pilgrims kickstarter by Zaba-Art and the small mushrooms, tiny snail and spider are from my husband who collected some GW grots :)
All the details are freehanded and I included some funny things in there. Most of those are the courtesy of my husband, who has all the wit between us two.
Alot of things don't make sense, are not even close to realistically painted or I made a choice to make some parts a little less polished to make the rest stand out more. I have to stop at some point though, otherwise I'm endlessly going to be able to tweak things and polish them more, and so on and so forth.
