Painting Lucas Pina sculpts always comes with great joy. If you paint it as a gift to a friend there is even more joy in it. This was painted for my friend and former student Gabi as an exchange figure. I am really proud to own one of her pieces in my cabinet.

While painting this beautiful Troll I really let loose and just enjoyed painting. Not thinking about what others might like or care of in technical aspects. This is a true me, vibrant, powerful in painting nuances and brushstrokes. A thousand brushstrokes alone on the tree trunk. I really enjoyed this.

Attached you can see photos on grey and black background, plus size comparision to a bottle of paint, plus a photo in the cabinet beside other figures to provide a true sense of how the miniature looks.

      Roman , Du weißt ja , das ich andere Figuren bevorzuge . Aber Dein Troll ist anders . Natürlich ist
      auch klar , das du jedesmal dein bestes gibst und dich weiterentwickelst 1! die Augen haben eine
      große Lebendigkeit und die Hauttone sind sehr gut gemalt , das im verbund mit einer natürlich wirkenden Natur . das finde ich sehr ansprechend . Ich werde mich in Zukunft auch mehr mit
      Naturelementen auseinander setzen . Beste Grüße

Auch bist Du einer der Gründer Väter hier und einer der wenigeren Mitglieder , die über eine solch umfangreische Erfahrung verfügen . Konstruktive und effizente Kritik ist hier leider ja nicht allzu oft erwünscht oder an der Tagesordnung. Gold-Digging, “Oro” und “Gold” zu kommentieren wie Roboter und dabei kaum Zeit nehmen um das Projekt anzusehen ist bei vielen Kandidaten die den Sinn dieser Seite nicht verstanden haben leider oft an der Tagesordnung. Gerne nehme ich mir jetzt die Zeit Dir ehrliches Feedback aus meiner Perspektive für deine Figur zu schreiben.

    Beautiful!
    The first works I saw from you were the waterbuffalo with the plants around his horns and the cats diorama, these stick with me to this day.
    So seeing this troll overgrown with moss and the colorful treebark really resonated and I just love the whole feeling of freedom and nature it gives.

    Simply a wonderful piece!
    Someday I’ll just have to find the means to follow a workshop with you. Please keep on creating Roman, it always makes my day better to see your work and the joy you have in it! :)
