This diorama depicts convoy escort crews in Vietnam taking a break after another successful trip. Most of the Gun Trucks were crew specific and many pilfered weapons usable for their difficult task, such as the mini-gun system, probably taken from a downed helo or the Army scrap yard depot. The Gun Truck was a mobile fortress and the crews loaded them with whatever they deemed necessary to fulfill the mission. They were truly rolling beasts of awesome fire power.
