As a big fan of GoT i have to admit that you capured her sad and melancholic character nearly perfect.Once again a great piece Roman.
Thank you very much Josua. Your words mean a lot and I appreciate the time you took to write them.
So simple bust, so limited palette, so much atmosphere! Love her face with all these subtle tones and reflections. I have to paint her too!
It is a cool bust to paint indeed. Thx!
Excellent skin tones and atmosphere!
Thank you, Raffa!
You captured the cold feel extremely well :)
Mission accomplished. Happy! Thank you!
Love, love, love, the atmosphere. Make me feel cold, weary, yet defiant/ determined.
Hey Chris, thank you. I am happy that my colors can evoke such things! Many thanks for your comment!
Very cool! =) Nice texture and colors in skin, great atmosphere!
Thank you very much, Robert. Happy that you like her!
Nailed it! You captured the frezzing atmoshpere of the North at Westeros.
I am happy when the hammer finds a nail ... thanks!
I’d vote gold, but that seems like too warm a color for this piece. Oh well, gotta vote it anyway. I will definitely be referencing this piece next time I want to do a winter scene. All the colors are great, but I’m especially impressed by the skin tones and the feeling you’ve created with those colors.
I actually was not painting skintones at all. Felt like blueish something allt the time, but it worked out. Thanks, David!
I love it! The atmosphere and character are perfect.
Thank you, Matt!
Cool painting my friend, love the skintone you’ve made,
not really a fan of this bust, cause I think nose is too big, but you’ve done your work great without a doubt.
ps. Last photos is an eyes-killer :-)
Zrrrrdddddddddeeeddeeedddeeewww! Yeah the last photo feels like that. Sorryio! :D
A very interesting paintjob Roman…love the way you worked with cold and warm tons…nice! ;)
Thanks a lot, Matthieu!
Just brilliant! I love what you’ve done with this. I was on the fence about buying this bust, but the decision is easy now.
Thanks, Jason. Happy that you are so inspired.
Aweosme work, very frosty!
Just like the weather in Wes ... uhm Germany :D
