This 54mm scratch built diorama depicts Napoleon Bonaparte at the coup d´etat in the French directory in 1799, which ended the french revolution and in short time created Napoleon as first consul. The diorama is based on a famous painting.
When doing scenes based on paintings one has to remember to adapt and slightly do some delicate changes to the composition as we are creating a 3 D scene bases on a 2 D painting. But you will find some great work, composition and storytelling when studying these famous classical paintings. Diorama made in 2013.
