I wanted to represent this Dumah from Kimera Models as the second horseman of the apocalypse (the red horseman, war). In order to do so, since there is no actual horse in the model, i decided to paint the skin red, just as the biblical horse. I then freehanded the horse skull on the plates of the armor and i decided to add a freehanded helm on the shield to give an impression of a knight, albeit a demonic one. I converted the piece a bit to add the banner on the back to reinforce the idea of war and moved the shield from the left arm to the back of the model to suggest the idea of the leader of a marching apocalypctic army.
In the future i want to do my version of all four horsemen, if i find models that go well together with a unified style.
In the meanwhile i hope you like this one.
Many thanks to my master Francesco Farabi for all the precious suggestions he gave to me.
Well guys, didn’t expect to get this vote to be honest. Thank you to all of you :) I’ll bring this piece to Athens (if i can make it) and to Monte San Savino if you want to see it in person.
