I wanted with this piece to be braver in my colour choices and contrast, I wanted to achieve a cartoony/sketchy style inspired by comics such as Tank Girl.
I wanted also to mix futuristic/apocalyptic with traditional lore. Here Buddy is contemplating what happened to his Australian ancestors, standing near a sacred site, he listens to their voices, searching for the way forward, in this orange and desolate land.

What I really love jay on this particular paintjob is the balance of the color thermometer. There is a beutiful alertnating of cool and warm colors all over the model. This also takes place on the cool colors of the model offset by the reddish/ orange base. The contrast makes this model pop everywhere your eye scopes!!! Just a beautiful job mate. Oh and touches like the striped Sox are just great Lil touches on the model as well.
