I read the Cult of the Spiral Dawn as I painted this acolyte and wow it was great. The whole Genestealer Cult lore is amazing and perfectly illustrates of loving and cruel nature can be. So I wanted to capture the secretive nature of the GSC by painting a strong directional warm light to contrast with the cold ambient light. The hunched over physique and flashlights of the model really helps with the whole ambiance.     I love it. Powerful paint. I think though that there is too much power on the pick, and that it is not filly convincing, especially from back view. Just a little input, I hope it is ok.
